Vale – Margaret Dick.
Members of SI Cobram Barooga mourn the passing of our
esteemed member and friend. Margaret was a Charter Member of our Club who
continued to contribute even during the challenges that life presented to her. Margaret
held the position of President during the Clubs early years. A beautiful person
and an inspiration to us all with her determination and fighting spirit.
Margaret was also very community minded and served on the
Local Council for eight years during that time she was Shire President for two
years. Always a tireless member of the Cobram Historical Society working at
documenting and cataloguing people, events and history of our area. Margaret
also had an active role in bringing other cultural interests to Cobram.
Life to Margaret was never if I do it, it was always when I
