Programme Focus Objectives
Certain Focus Issues are decided on every four years, when Soroptimists from around the world meet at Convention. Throughout the world, members focus their efforts on these and develop projects that meet the specific needs of their communities. A structured reporting system ensures that the collective efforts can be used to advocate for social change at local, national and international levels. Position Statements on issues of global concern are published collectively in "Where We Stand".

Each of these Goals has a number of targets and indicators some of which could easily be a point of focus for Soroptimist Clubs can look at what they currently have planned and see if it fits one of the goals or they may choose to tackle the goals in terms of their local area first before considering the wider context. For example with Goal 15 which looks large it may be a matter of identifying if a local ecosystem could do with support and see how that might take place within the context of the SDGs and our Programme objectives.
