About Us at SI South Perth
Welcome to the Soroptimist International club of South Perth (SISP). Our club is a not for profit organisation with the aim of helping all women in society.
SISP helps women locally in South Perth, regionally in Western Australia and on a global scale internationally by joining with like-minded people to encourage change in many areas of society.
SISP has over 20 members from South Perth and surrounding areas who work in fundraising, programme, membership and social to uphold the ideals of Soroptimism.
An executive committee of inspiring women encourages all others in the group to be their best and to achieve personal goals. Each achievement on a personal level contributes to the overall success of the club.

| | General meeting 8 December 2009 | | | | Tuesday, 15 December 2009 |
Today we held our final breakfast
meeting for 2009 at the Royal Perth Golf Club in South Perth. Every
year we donate Christmas hampers to the Starick Services women's refuge and
this year we expect to have at least 76 to give to the women and
children at the refuge. We had donations from businesses, golf groups,
Curves gym members, private individuals, friends and family, and SISP
members themselves. Arina and Joy from Starick Services were overwhelmed
by the fantastic contribution of so many people. SISP member, Jan also made soft
toys especially for the children at Starrick. Soroptomisters Joe, Bill,
and Jim helped with lifting and transporting the baskets from South Perth to the Starrick premises.
During the meeting we also raffled a Christmas cake and raised
$70. Many thanks to Marilyn's friend, Sue, who made the cake.
Here we are, posing with the baskets
