ACKNOWLEDGING PASSIONATE YOUNG WOMEN
Soroptimist International Region of NSW Inc has begun the search for young women who are making a difference in your community, to nominate into the Soroptimist International Women Creating Change Award, part of the NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards.
“Many young women are passionate about creating change. The Soroptimist International Women Creating Change Award acknowledges and celebrates the commitment of young women in initiating and leading activities which enable change in the lives of women and girls locally, nationally and/or internationally. We would be delighted to receive nominations from or on behalf of young women that are making your local community a better place to live” said Karen Ford, President, Soroptimist International Region of NSW Inc.
Nominations are now open in the following categories:

• Soroptimist International Women Creating Change Award
• The Coffee Club Arts and Fashion Award
• First National Real Estate Leadership Award
• Freemasons of NSW/ACT Community Service Award
• Aboriginal Education Council Aboriginal Education Award
• Worldwide Printing Solution Sports Award
• WFI Insurance Small Business Achiever Award


Category winners will each receive $2,500 from Masonicare and a magnificent trophy. One of the category winners will be chosen as the NSW/ACT Young Achiever of the Year and will receive $5,000 from Masonicare and a State trophy.

Since the creation of the NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards in 2014, it has applauded the leadership, vision, excellence and commitment of young people, whilst highlighting their efforts and success. The purpose of the NSW/ACT Young Achiever awards is to acknowledge, encourage and most importantly promote the positive achievements of all young people up to and including 29 years of age.
