MOU Signing Ceremony & Media Conference with Ministry of Women, Family and Poverty Alleviation Fiji to officially commence collaboration for the building of Soroptimist Sanctuary Shelters for women and children who are victims of violence and who are most vulnerable during natural disasters.

Major TV networks and newspapers attended and reported on PrimeTime TV news and several prominent feature news stories were seen in local dailies.

Signing alongside SISWP President Anusha was Karen Ford, SISWP Company Secretary and witnessed by Dr.Maria Doton, Federation Project Manager.
Also in attendance were SISWP President Elect Suman Lal, Fiji Region President and SISWP Director Veena Kiran and Fiji Region President Elect Jagindar Dayal.
The Ministry signatories were Permanent Secretary Dr Josefa Koroivueta and Selai Korovuseli, Director in charge of Department of Women-Team Women
