We plan to organise joint workshops and capacity building programmes. How civil society organisations (CSOs) can contribute to the implementation of programmes to prevent human trafficking and migrant smuggling, violent extremism and counter terrorism, especially interventions involving women and girls who are perpetrators or enablers.

Programmes to support women's access to criminal justice systems and training of women as peace builders and negotiators.

There is a pressing need to bridge the gap between the security sector and CSOs. Dialogues, advocacy platforms, focused training and regional events are great opportunities for strategic partnering and continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders. We need to jointly present issues from a gender perspective with clear actionable guidelines.

We also explored a new programme opportunity called "Education for Justice" Programmes that we will be able to organise in primary schools, high schools and universities with the assistance of UNODC Asia & Pacific.
