Region of Malaysia Conference 3Embrace Collaboration was the theme of the Conference and my Keynote Presentation@ SI Malaysia 13th Biennial Conference of Clubs at Cherengin Hills Convention & Spa Resort in Janda Baik. This mountain retreat was a wonderful location to interact, share and grow ideas, explore opportunities and fresh perspectives with this awesome group of women from all over Malaysia.

Team SI Malaysia are truly exemplary, ready to embrace collaboration to grow service projects and attract members using the SISWP Biennium sub-themes of inter-club skills exchange, prosper across borders, mentor young creators and develop social enterprises. AGM 2019 saw the election of a new Executive Team. Agnes Tan takes over as Region President and Michele Kaur is the new Region President Elect.

Malaysian Soroptimists sure know how to throw Theme Parties. They celebrated friendship with a "Go Green" themed Dinner in conjunction with SI Malaysia Region Conference. There were amazing performances of songs and dances by several Soroptimist clubs. Great to see clubs spontaneously teaming up to sing together without any practice. They are hundreds of miles apart from each other and meet only at Region Council events. An all round fabulous experience.
